Legacy Giving
Leave a lasting impact for animals in our communities
When you include The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth in your estate plan, your generosity impacts the thousands of animals who need help each year. Thank you for ensuring that we can continue to help those we serve well into the future.
Making A Legacy Gift
A legacy gift can improve the lives of animals and support the human-animal bond long after you're gone. However your gift comes to us, you will be supporting animals in our community that need love, help and support.
There are many options available to give:
Getting Started Is Easier Than You Think
The first step is planning. You may wish to work with a lawyer, financial advisor or both to develop an estate plan that reflects your wishes. If you already have a will, these professionals can work with you to update it to reflect your desire to help animals in-need in your community.

Planning For Your Pet
Don’t forget about your own pet: Who will care for them if something happens to you?
It’s hard to think about, but life can be unpredictable, and without a plan, your beloved pet could be left without someone to look after them. Have you considered what would happen if your pet outlived you? Create a plan with your chosen family member, friend or caregiver, and advisors to make sure your pets are well cared for.
