We offer 40+ services at the Humane Society to support people and pets across Waterloo Region and Perth County. From adoption and surrender services, animal control and by-law, education and community programs, to veterinary services and community outreach - we support pets and families who need us the most.

Our companion animal hospitals focus on the health and wellness of the homeless pets we have coming through our doors and they also provide a number of public facing programs. Today we offer a variety of services including spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, microchipping, and veterinary outreach aimed at keeping people and pets together.

The Humane Society offers a wide variety of youth and adult educational programming, including birthday parties, paint nights, camps, yoga with the animals, centre tours and more.

Whether it’s a one-time, monthly, or memorial contribution in honor of a cherished individual or beloved pet, your donation directly supports our abilities to offer programs and services within the community.

The Humane Society regularly hosts events and fundraisers to raise money in support of our 40+ programs and services. Being a registered charity that receives no level of government funding, we rely solely on our fundraising efforts to help the pets that need us most.

We are leaders in animal welfare in our communities and regularly provide educational materials and resources to best support pet parents across Waterloo Region and Perth County.
